Alizeh Shah Warns Yasir Nawaz of Defamation Lawsuit

Pakistani actor Alizeh Shah has issued a stern warning to director and producer Yasir Nawaz, threatening legal action for repeatedly mentioning her name and describing their past work together as “not fun.”

“This is my final warning to Nawaz,” Shah wrote on her Instagram story, expressing disappointment and asking the director to refrain from bringing up her name. She recalled that it has been five years since working with Nawaz on the drama Mera Dil Mera Dushman, but claimed he continues to speak about her negatively on various platforms. “At times, he offers an apology, and at other times claims that the experience was ‘not fun,’ yet he continues to mention my name on nearly every talk show he appears on,” she said.

Shah made it clear that she is prepared to take legal action if the behavior continues. “If he mentions my name again or refers to me on any future platform, I will proceed with filing a defamation lawsuit against him without further notice,” she warned. She also stated that she has documented recordings and reports of his appearances to support her case.

The actress further cautioned that if Nawaz persists, she will reveal the true reasons behind his grievances with her, noting, “Trust me, it will not reflect well on your image.”

This statement comes months after Nawaz publicly discussed his difficulties working with Shah. His wife, Nida Yasir, also previously defended him, suggesting that they lacked chemistry as co-actors.
